■ Professor

Ah Ram was born in Republic of Korea. She finished her B.S degree (2014) in Chemistry at Ajou University. She then entered the Graduate school of Nanoscience & Technology, KAIST. She joined the Yoon's group in 2014. She is in the interaged Master's & Ph.D course. She is interested in chemical self-assembly with liquid crystal.

 

 

Min Jeong Shin was born in Daejeon and finished her B.S. in department of chemistry at McGill University(2015). She joined Yoon's group in September 2015. Her research interest is mainly on observing and controlling various morphology, optical properties of liquid crystals. Especially, she is studying on smectic, bent-core liquid crystals.


Minyoung Yang was born in Daejeon and then moved into Seoul when he was middle school student. He finished his B.S. in department of chemistry at KAIST in 2015. Nowadays, as a intergrated Ph.D course member of Soft Matter nano-Assembly group of GSNT, he is focusing on synthesis of liquid crystal molecules. In his own time, he loves to watch baseball games and famous TV shows.

Ra You was born in Seoul and grew up in Daejeon. She finished her B.S. (2014) in Fine Chemical Engineering at Chung-nam national university. She joined the Yoon's group in 2014. She is currently studying analysis of Twist Bend Nematic phase in various conditions. Ra You is kind and bright girl. When not in the lab, she enjoys listening to music, watching movies.

Geon Hyeong Park was born in Changwon and finished B.S (2018) in department of organic and nano engineering at Hanyang University. He joined Yoon's group in 2018. His research area is molecular self-assembly.
